Cookie policy
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log and visitor behaviour information. This information is used to analyse how visitors use our website and to compile statistical data on website performance and the enable subscriber-only functions.
There are five cookies set by TFPL’s website directly:
‘exp_csrf_token’ A security cookie used to identify the user and prevent Cross Site Request Forgery attacks. Expires in 2 hours
‘exp_flash’ Control panel user feedback messages, encrypted for security.
‘exp_remember’ Determines whether a user is automatically logged in upon visiting the site.
‘exp_sessionid’ Session id, used to associate a logged in user with their data.
‘exp_visitor_consents’ Saves responses to Consent requests for non-logged in visitors
The data gathered by the cookies is used solely by TFPL’s website, which is hosted via and maintained by TFPL’s third party website developer.
We gather website analytics using a privacy-first non-cookie-based platform called Fathom. This is to ensure we only collect the data we need (to understand how the website is used and to inform future development) while keeping the number of cookies in use on the website to an absolute minimum.
For further information about cookies, please visit the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO’s) website.
You can set your browser not to accept cookies. However, if you do refuse cookies from the website you may not be able to log into your account.
