YM Gathering bookings open
Bookings for Yearly Meeting Gathering are now open
Bookings for Yearly Meeting Gathering, to be held in Bath in August 2014, are now open. Friends House have provided information on their website that gives background and guidance for those Friends who wish to attend the largest Quaker gathering of 2014. It states that ‘online bookings can be made at bit.ly/YMG2014Booking’.
While it is recommended that booking is done online to save paper and postage, paper application forms are also available. They were sent to Local Meetings just after Christmas and further copies are available.
The website urges Friends to make use of online bookings and states that they are ‘simpler as you will only see questions related to your booking choices… you will have access to revisit (and at times amend) your booking… and, when allocations of space are confirmed, you can pay online’. It also saves processing time as information will not need to be re-inputted and fewer errors should arise. No booking deposit is being requested. However, if bookings are cancelled after the end of June a cancellation fee may be due.
