Martin Layton joins Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre

Martin Layton has been appointed as senior programme leader at the Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre in Birmingham.

Martin will have responsibility for Woodbrooke’s off-site work. This will include Woodbrooke-on-the-Road and Woodbrooke at Swarthmoor Hall. He will also have responsibility for developing and coordinating Woodbrooke’s growing e-learning programme.

Simon Best, head of learning at Woodbrooke, said: ‘Martin is a very experienced educator and also brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding from his involvement with Friends and other groups. He has a lot of experience in using different types of technology to deliver learning, which will make a huge contribution to our programme.’

Martin joined the programmes team at the beginning of January.
