'Woodbrooke is ‘at the start of a relationship with Glenthorne Quaker Centre to offer regular Woodbrooke courses.'

Woodbrooke is developing a partnership with Glenthorne Guest House and Conference Centre, with two residential retreats already planned this year.

Jon Martin, head of communications for Woodbrooke, told the Friend that more residentials at Glenthorne are in the pipeline, and will be ‘pay-as-led’ to ensure accessibility. There will also be a summer residential held at the Woodbrooke Centre from 16-23 August.

The move follows news in March that the historic centre was to be closed. Jon Martin stressed that residential learning is on offer at different locations and Woodbrooke is ‘at the start of a relationship with Glenthorne Quaker Centre to offer regular Woodbrooke courses’.

This year so far there will be two courses at Glenthorne and residentials at Kents Hill Park in Milton Keynes and The Hayes in Derbyshire. One will take place next year at The Briery in West Yorkshire.
