Winchmore Hill’s Open Gardens
Friends in Winchmore Hill took part in the London-wide Open Gardens event
Around 150 people came to Winchmore Hill Meeting House last weekend as part of the London-wide event, Open Gardens.
The event on 9 and 10 June opened up the historic garden so visitors could post messages on the Peace Tree and see headstones of people including members of the Hoare and Barclay bank-founding families, two Quaker members of parliament, and Luke Howard, the pioneering meterologist.
