Winchester Meeting has moved back into their Meeting house after closing for five months for a major refurbishment.

The building is now much more energy efficient and sustainable. The total cost of the refurbishment was about £300,000.

Winchester Friend Tony Philpott thanked all the individuals and Meetings who, over the past few years, had contributed to the appeal. He said: ‘We are now able to continue and develop our work in helping the homeless, providing a facility for hire, supporting people through counselling and carrying on our Quaker worship and Meetings.’
