What does Quakerism mean to you?

Galileo West celebrates a feeling of belonging

Quakerism, for me, is a sense of community and inclusivity, a sense of belonging and a sense of friendship. The story below reflects this.  I was at Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre a few years ago and was reading a classic novel: George Orwell’s 1984. I decided to go down into the reading room and read a few chapters in between my various hours of study. The room is gorgeous. It has a lovely antique chessboard, a jigsaw puzzle and some extremely comfy chairs.
