Ulster Quakers respond
Quakers in Northern Ireland respond to government plans
Friends in Northern Ireland are working together to produce a Quaker response to the NI Executive’s new Draft Programme for Government 2011 – 2015.
The response is being organised by the recently formed ‘Testimonies and Social Witness’ committee of Ulster Quarterly Meeting. The committee was set up to co-ordinate Friends’ work in areas such as gambling and social and economic justice.
Quakers in Northern Ireland, through the committee, can now respond quickly to developments in the public sphere.
