Heaven on Earth: Quakers and the Second Coming, first published in 1998, has been reprinted as a twentieth anniversary edition.
The book, by Ben Pink Dandelion, Timothy Peat-Ashworth and Douglas Gwyn, outlines the idea of Quakers understanding their experience in terms of fulfilling Pauline prophecy around the Second Coming. It goes on to look at how Quakerism has adapted over the years as a ‘Second-Coming church’.
