Truth in the face of bullying

Symon Hill looks at the nature of Truth in the face of authority.

When phoning Southeastern Railways recently, I was reminded that one of the most helpful things I learnt at school was the importance of not giving in to bullying. Although I got beaten up for resisting bullies, I probably got hurt less than those who submitted.  In the adult world, official powers are on the bullies’ side. Capitalism is based on the bullying of the vulnerable by the powerful. This is a denial of the fundamental Truth of human equality, to which Friends testify.
