'Words Fail – but ‘Why?’' by Lloyd Kemp

Words
are but
poor vehicles
to convey
the depths of
human love;
and I wondered –

‘Why?’

And back came
the answer,
as it were, in
the twinkling
of an eye:

human love,
at its deepest,
is God’s love
too –

for which
there are
no words.
