A poem
In order
to follow
the Christ.
We must
give up
our personal
desires.
As St Francis
did.
Simone Weil
says: All true
friendship
comes from the Christ.
And as two people
become soul mates
the gentle relationship
is as the Christ.
We are told
to love one another.
And this love
is the Way
the Truth
and the Life.
