Michael Yates believes that we should give life in death

There is one certainty in life: that it will end. One of the golden nuggets within the Quaker approach to our spiritual journey is the encouragement to prepare for that certainty. Taking heed of this advice early can be of enormous help, at the time of death, to relatives and friends. As Friends, we expect to make a clear will; to think about how we would like our bodies to be disposed of; and to plan for a Memorial Meeting. These practices are second nature to Friends.
