‘Taking the Next Step: in our commitment to become a sustainable community’ was the title of a Meeting of Friends in Wales residential gathering held between 27 February and 1 March at the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT).

The idea for the topic of the weekend came from a session with Kindlers for North and Mid-Wales in June 2014, when a challenging question from Pam Lunn’s 2011 Swarthmore Lecture, Costing not less than everything: Sustainability and spirituality in challenging times, was read to us.
