Symon Hill leaves the Friend
Symon Hill, news reporter for the Friend, bids readers goodbye

Symon Hill will be leaving the Friend for pastures new this week. Symon has been the news reporter for the Friend for over two-and-a-half years, providing invaluable coverage of issues of concern to, and concerning, Friends in Britain. He will now be expanding his freelance work, including a book on the role of the internet in activism.
He said: ‘It’s been a real privilege to work for the Friend. I’ve learnt a great deal and worked with really inspiring people. Many thanks to all the people who’ve encouraged me, advised me and been interviewed by me. I’ll continue to be an enthusiastic reader!’
Symon has been an integral part of the Friend team and we wish him all the best. He will be missed.
