Are there any young Quakers? If so, what do they do? If you have been to Britain Yearly Meeting (BYM) you may have seen some of the younger members sporting the socks and sandals combination. Among the other groups of Quakers, the Young Quakers (YQs) have a tight-knit community of their own (there are more than 150 of us). We are more than what you just see at BYM. A set of various acronyms make up the YQ community. However, we are often split depending on which part of the country you live in. In the South there are the two FSSE (Friends Southern Summer events): Summer School and Senior Conference – the events.
