Friends hold vigils in solidarity

by Tara Craig 16th January 2015

Falmouth Quakers held a Peace Vigil at 2pm on Sunday 11 January, to coincide with the unity march in Paris. ‘We stand in solidarity with the people of France’, Falmouth Meeting elder Andrina Cossey told the Friend.

Members of the newly-formed Wimborne Meeting joined representatives of other local faiths for a vigil to remember and respect the victims of terrorism. Up to forty people stood in silence at noon on Sunday.
