Friends in Scotland will consider the nature of God

Gretchen Castle, general secretary of the Friends World Committee for Consultation, will lead a discussion on the nature of God at the General Meeting for Scotland in Edinburgh on 11 March.
She will focus on how God is seen by Friends worldwide and discuss the variety of views that are held about the nature and existence of God. Friends, she says, often don’t feel easy or have the opportunity of talking about their experiences and understandings in a safe way and she hopes ‘to find that safe place’.
