Scottish Friends witness against anti-migrant crowd

'Stand up to Racism and several trade unions organised a counter protest and Friends felt that we should be part of this gathering.’

Scottish Friends took part in a counter-protest outside a Falkirk hotel which houses asylum seekers. The witness on 16 August was in response to a huge crowd that had gathered to protest against the hotel and its occupants. Britain has seen regular protests in recent weeks outside hotels housing asylum seekers.
