Roseline Akhalu back in court

Roseline Akhalu returns to court on 18 July

by Caroline Humphries 19th July 2013

On Thursday 18 July Roseline Akhalu faced yet another court ordeal to defend two previous judges’ decisions that she should be allowed to stay in the UK.

Roseline has been hounded by UK immigration authorities for health tourism after falling ill whilst studying at Leeds University on a prestigious Ford Foundation scholarship. Her doctors say she will die within four weeks if she is returned to Nigeria, and that she could not have known she would fall ill when she accepted the scholarship. She will be accompanied to court by members of her parish and local community where she is much loved.
