Britain’s record on children is under the spotlight. This month the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child (UN CRC) is examining the UK government’s record to determine how compliant the UK has been with regard to its obligations under the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Britain Yearly Meeting made a submission entitled Peace Education or Militarisation? to highlight Friends’ concerns.
