Peter Speirs celebrates forty years of Peace Studies in Bradford

More than two hundred people from twenty-seven countries attended the recent conference ‘Why War?’ in celebration of forty years of Peace Studies at Bradford University. The conference was organised by Caroline Hughes, the new professor of Conflict Resolution and Peace, whose post is being funded for three years by the Quaker Peace Studies Trust (QPST).
