Quakers mark Joseph Rowntree centenary

Woodbrooke marked the centenary of Quaker Joseph Rowntree’s death with an event this month. As part of the ongoing Rowntree Centenary Celebrations this year, the session on 11 August looked at ‘the histories of the Quaker Rowntree family, their world-known confectionary company and their social reform work’.
