Quakers in Africa in ‘difficulty’

A joint letter from the clerks of several Quaker organisations has highlighted the plight of Friends in Africa

Many African Friends and their neighbours are in ‘considerable and increasing difficulty’, Quakers have said.

In a joint letter from the clerks of the Friends World Committee for Consultation (FWCC) Africa Section, Friends Church Kenya, and Friends United Meeting (Africa Ministries), they said that the Friends’ hospitals in Kenya and Burundi are in desperate need of PPE and other equipment, just as hospitals and care homes in Britain are.
