Quaker disrupts Barclays’ AGM

‘Barclays is the biggest funder of fossil fuels in Europe. In 2024 they invested $35bn in fossil fuels, a 55% increase on the year before.’

A Quaker was among three members of Christian Climate Action (CCA) who interrupted Barclays’ annual general meeting (AGM) by singing. The group also quizzed the board about its climate financing goals.
