Opposition to the Housing Bill
Quakers will be participating in a demonstration against the Housing Bill

Friends will be participating in a national demonstration against the Housing and Planning Bill in London on Sunday 13 March.
According to the organisers – ‘Kill the Housing Bill’ – the Bill will allow the government to sell off existing council homes to the highest bidder, remove secure tenancies and impose ‘pay to stay’ market-linked rent rises for council and housing association tenants.
Quakers met recently at Friends House for a lively and successful conference that considered the Bill and the present housing crisis.
