An online platform for young Quakers is planned

A Lincolnshire Friend is planning to launch a web-based platform for young Quakers. The ‘YouthQuakeNow’ (YQN) project hopes to inspire young Friends to meet and connect.
Mark Smith, from Lincoln Meeting, told the Friend: ‘The website will be a place for news, activism, philosophy, psychology, freethinking and living adventurously, as well as plenty of Quaker stuff for both Friends and newcomers.’
He said the idea for the site came during a discussion in Quaker Week about what ‘I, as an individual, could do to promote Quaker values as an outreach project… I most definitely don’t want to preach Quakerism, rather I want YQN to engage curious minds.’
