Newark Quakers hold vigil for peace

It was ‘a very moving experience, and that the Quakers had been very encouraged by the turnout and those who came to support them’.

Newark Quakers organised a silent vigil for peace this month in order to stand in solidarity with those affected by conflict. Around fifty participants gathered at the edge of the town’s market place.
