New face at the Friend

Tara Craig has joined the team at the Friend

Tara Craig has joined the Friend, as a part time journalist.  She will be mainly responsible for writing news stories about the life, worship and activities of Quakers in Britain and is keen to receive information from Friends.

She has been a journalist for some years, working on a diverse group of publications, ranging from The Grocer to Brewers’ Guardian via Personnel Today.

Tara volunteers for Oxfam, and belongs to a local community kitchen garden project. Before moving out of London, she was a long term volunteer with homelessness charity The Simon Community.

Tara lives in Dorking, Surrey, but is from Co. Armagh, Northern Ireland. She has degrees from the University of Ulster and the University of Sheffield.
