The Quaker Housing Trust (QHT) has published two booklets in advance of the general election to highlight a concern over housing in Britain today.

Jenny Brierley, the clerk of the Quaker Housing Trust, said: ‘We have reissued Principles [for a just housing policy] and Housing: our spiritual concern because housing inequality in Britain is widening, while housing options for so many people are actually narrowing. More and more people are finding it hard to get and keep a home, regardless of whether you have a job or not… As Quakers and citizens we have a collective responsibility for housing our population – our neighbours. This is an essential part of our historic witness to social justice.’
