A Friend shares some personal experiences
The issue of how to support people in the way they want to be supported can be complex and challenging. Some years ago a birthright Friend, ‘John’, returned to Quakers following his marriage breakdown. He was taking medication for depression and had become estranged from his father, who was attached to a nearby Meeting.
