Proposed revisions to Quaker faith & practice were discussed at Meeting for Sufferings

Michael Phipps, of the Church Government Advisory Group, presented proposed revisions to Quaker faith & practice (Qf&p) to Meeting for Sufferings prior to sending them to Yearly Meeting (YM) 2014 in Bath for approval.
There are revisions to three sections of chapter eight of Church Government. Revisions to sections nine and ten were requested by Yearly Meeting 2013 and refer to the spiritual basis and contribution of Quaker Life Representative Council. Section fourteen on Friends Trust Ltd was altered as it does not apply in Scotland because of different property laws.
