In her letter to Meeting for Sufferings (MfS) representatives, clerk Margaret Bryan welcomed the signs of spring. It was fitting for a Meeting that dealt with change, perhaps even to MfS itself.
The MfS annual report spoke of ‘a strange and stressful year in many ways but… also a richly rewarding one.’ Following some routine business – if remembering a Friend protesting with XR in the Prison and Court Register could be considered routine – the report was accepted without significant amendment.
