'Friends heard reports on how central committees have been responding to Yearly Meeting.'

by Rebecca Hardy 17th March 2023

In the first afternoon session on 4 March, Friends heard reports on how central committees have been responding to Yearly Meeting (YM) concerns. In 2021, Quaker Peace & Social Witness Central Committee (QPSWCC) was asked to continue work on climate justice. Meanwhile, Quaker Life Central Committee (QLCC) was asked to consider how to support Local (LM) and Area Meetings (AMs) on cultivating ‘an inclusive culture of welcome’, and a vision for what it means to be an anti-racist faith community.
