Diana Brockbank reflects on a busy General Meeting for Scotland held recently in Glasgow

Recollections of the witness and life at this year’s Yearly Meeting Gathering, which was held in Bath in the summer, featured strongly at the recent General Meeting for Scotland in Glasgow.

The first session was devoted to the Gathering and we had an impressive array of contributors giving reports. We heard about the broad range of events offered for all ages and interests and enjoyed stories of the experience of those who had camped. I got a sense of the wonderful smorgasbord of activities. Two slide shows brought it all more alive for me. I was particularly inspired by images of the Quaker Garden, which had been constructed during the event.
