Mark Tully in conversation

The veteran BBC correspondent talked to Symon Hill, at Woodbrooke, about his faith and his love affair with India, its people and its trains

‘This is the first time I’ve been to Quaker worship,’ says Mark Tully. ‘I find it interesting the way that someone suddenly stood up and spoke.’  For the distinguished BBC journalist, new experiences are possible even after seven decades exploring spirituality. He attended his first Meeting for Worship last Saturday at the Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre in Birmingham, before speaking to the Quaker Universalist Group.
