London Quakers decide to provide childcare
Friends in London will be providing childcare during daytime meetings
London Quakers have taken the policy decision to provide childcare at all their daytime conferences and meetings. Fred Ashmore told the Friend: ‘It’s in the interests of diversity. Anyone who is in the bracket of having children to look after and is willing to sacrifice a Saturday to come to one of our Meetings will benefit. I read a list of fifty things you can do to improve diversity and one of the things you can do is provide childcare at all events.’
