Quakers in Llandrindod Wells took part in 'Just This Day'

Llandrindod Wells Friends hosted a day of ‘silence, inner stillness and sacred music’ this week as part of a global event celebrating meditation.
The ‘Just This Day’ event at Llandrindod Wells Meeting House in Wales on 28 November included contemplation, meditation, sacred music and Tai Chi, with Quaker, Buddhist and Sufi contributions.
John Senior, from Llandrindod Wells Meeting, told the Friend: ‘The day… aims to bring people together in silence to connect with their own inner wisdom and with one another, going beyond the discrimination and noise of our tumultuous world.’
‘Just This Day’, now in its twelfth year, was started at St-Martin-in-the-Fields, an Anglican church in London.
