Living out the Peace Testimony

Considers the challenge of putting principle into practice

As the Quaker United Nations Office (QUNO) Representative for Disarmament and Peace I have spent the last sixteen years working in a world of high politics, competing agendas, and compromise. It can be difficult, given the daily ‘realities’ of this world, to stay connected to the basis of ‘the Peace Testimony’. And yet without it, I doubt that I would have been able to sustain my commitment and engagement for so long.
