From a reminder to the importance of outreach
A reminder
Regarding recent articles and letters, could we remind ourselves that Quakers believe there is that of God in everyone. Everyone!

A top-ten treasure
During a recent walking holiday in the Yorkshire Dales, my wife and I were taken by a local Friend to Farfield Meeting House in Wharfedale. It is an outstanding example of an early (1689) purpose built Meeting house, retaining its authentic Quaker character and ambience. Its simple barn-like structure has been beautifully maintained and is well cared for by the Friends of Friendless Churches.
A distinguishing, rare feature of the burial ground is the set of five chest tombs for the Myers family, who funded the Meeting house. Historic England lists the building in its top ten ‘Faith & Belief’ category! Situated on the popular Dales Way it attracts many walkers, and during our short visit a good dozen stopped to look in. Skipton Meeting organises worship there.
Well worth putting on your bucket list, Friends!
