Leaveners partner hosts writers
Poets' Corner project welcomed at the P Café

The P Café in Stirchley, Birmingham, recently welcomed a group of poets from the Leaveners’ ‘Poets’ Corner’ project.
Poets and volunteers came together to learn new writing techniques. They ranged from beginners to experienced writers.
‘All joined to make it a positive afternoon,’ Jorine Beck, programme leader of the Quaker arts organisation the Leaveners, told the Friend.
The P Café is a poetry, arts and philosophy café. Each month it displays a poem from the Leaveners’ Poets’ Corner, a project which supports aspiring poets of all ages and from a range of backgrounds.
