Tony Stoller has been appointed

Tony Stoller, editor of The Friends Quarterly, is the new chair of trustees for the Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) and Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT).  A former radio regulator, Tony is taking over the role from Debby Ounsted, who is stepping down after five years in the role. Tony has been closely involved with the JRF and the JRHT since 2001.

Tony began his professional career in newspapers and radio regulation, before running the Independent Local Radio station in Reading, Radio 210. He was with the John Lewis Partnership for eleven years, becoming Managing Director of the Southampton department store, Tyrrell and Green. He was appointed chief executive of The Radio Authority in 1995 and then helped to set up the new communications regulator, Ofcom.
