John Melling describes the life of a Scottish Meeting

Covering the greater part of the Scottish Highlands, Inverness Meeting has the largest catchment area of any Friends Meeting in Britain. Of the eighteen members by the close of 2010, four were living over 100 miles from the city with a further two resident in France. Advancing years together with the nonattendance of others had resulted in only five active Friends in membership.
