Quakers talk of answering that of God in everyone – and we do mean everyone. Often when we talk of outreach, we assume that with our emphasis on equality everyone will be at home with us. Some of us are sure that if only ‘they’ knew about us, they would come flocking. And yet we’re one of the smallest of denominations and our member/attendership is one of the most homogeneous.
