Housing takes centre stage
A housing conference will take place in February
Friends House will play host to a conference on housing on Saturday 20 February.
The conference, ‘Housing Inequality – What canst thou do?’, is free and open to all. Organised by London Quakers, it will feature workshops on homelessness, being an ethical landlord, and how individuals and groups can help. Speakers will include Britain Yearly Meeting recording clerk Paul Parker and Robert (Bob) Kerslake, former head of the Home Civil Service and permanent secretary at the Department for Communities and Local Government.
