Fred Ashmore reports on a recent housing conference at Friends House

A deep concern for the future of social housing in Britain was one of the main themes to emerge from a one-day conference organised by London Quakers that was held on 20 February at Friends House. The event, called ‘Housing and Inequality – What canst Thou do?’, was open to all Friends in Britain Yearly Meeting and anyone else who wanted to join this discussion. Plenary sessions in the morning were followed by six parallel workshops in the afternoon.
