Work is to begin on the re-design and landscaping of the garden in front of Friends House

Work will begin soon on the re-design and landscaping of the garden in front of Friends House in London. Friends House has just received planning permission and listed building consent for the work to the garden.
The project includes re-landscaping, the creation of new terraces, access to the restaurant and the installation of a new sub-station. The landscaping work, which is scheduled to begin immediately, is likely to last until November 2014 and the planting will take place in spring 2015.
Major renovations are presently being made to the Large Meeting House inside the building.
