Benigno Sanchez-Eppler has been appointed as the new clerk for the Section of the Americas of Friends World Committee for Consultation (FWCC).

Benigno has been one of the Spanish translators at past FWCC world conferences and aided in the translation of El Espiritu Se Levanta: Voces Jovenes Cuaqueras, the Spanish version of Spirit Rising published by Quakers United in Publications (QUIP).

He can be heard speaking about why he values worshipping with Friends from traditions other than the unprogrammed tradition best known to many British Quakers in a recent video on QuakerSpeak, a weekly video series.

Benigno also translates the writings of early Friends into Spanish.
