The Friends World Committee for Consultation (FWCC) has launched a new Young Adult Friends Development Fund to support projects that ‘benefit and strengthen the network of Young Adult Friends around the world’.

The Fund has been created from Quaker Youth Pilgrimage money.

Gretchen Castle, general secretary of FWCC, told the Friend: ‘The fund provides an opportunity for young Friends to pursue what is important to them as Quakers in their spiritual growth and evolving community.’ Ideas suggested include ‘anything from running a Quaker leadership training course to planning a World Gathering of Young Friends’, which could be connected to the next World Plenary Meeting in South Africa in 2023.
