Quakers in France and Belgium have appealed to British Friends

Quakers in France and Belgium have appealed to British Friends to join their vigil at Europe’s biggest arms fair next summer.
Eurosatory will take place in Paris from 13 to 17 June 2016. More than a thousand exhibitors are expected to take part.
‘We hope to open dialogue with individual participants, confident that some will converse with us as they have done before. In 2014, a number of Friends from Britain joined us, and we hope that many more will come to Paris in 2016’, members of France and Belgium and Luxembourg Yearly Meetings told the Friend.
There has been a peace witness by Quakers at Eurosatory for several decades.
